Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Texas Medical Center and our Member Institutions have collected and analyzed data to track COVID-19’s impact on the Greater Houston community. Starting on July 12, TMC will republish data every Tuesday morning in a new weekly format due to the increase in numbers. The updated data deck provides a comprehensive snapshot of COVID-19 in Houston and features critical data points including the COVID-19 positivity rate and COVID-19 hospitalization data. The deck also includes data on wastewater viral load across the City of Houston in partnership with Rice University and Baylor College Medicine, as it is an early indicator for community spread.
